TERMS & CONDITIONS – ZIPPY ZAMBIA

1. Introduction
Zippy Zambia is a digital marketplace operated by Ani & Mad Holidays Limited, a company registered in the Republic of Zambia.
The platform enables customers to discover and book accommodation, tours, and related services offered by independent third-party vendors.
By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Platform Role
Zippy Zambia acts solely as an intermediary connecting customers with independent vendors.
Zippy Zambia does not own, manage, operate, or control any listings or services offered on the platform unless expressly stated.
3. Vendor Responsibility
All services listed on the platform are provided directly by vendors.
Vendors are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and completeness of their listings
- Pricing and availability
- Service delivery and quality
- Safety standards
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Zambia, including the Zambia Data Protection Act
Vendors are also responsible for any identity verification conducted at check-in and for the lawful handling of such personal data.
4. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information when making bookings
- Reviewing all listing details, pricing, and applicable vendor policies prior to booking
- Complying with vendor requirements, including check-in procedures and identification requirements
By completing a booking, the customer enters into a direct contractual relationship with the vendor.
5. Bookings and Payments
Zippy Zambia may facilitate payments on behalf of vendors through integrated payment solutions such as Lenco by Broadpay.
A booking is considered confirmed only upon successful payment and receipt of confirmation.
Payment through the platform constitutes acceptance of the vendor’s terms, including cancellation and refund policies.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations, amendments, and refunds are governed solely by the policies of the respective vendor.
Zippy Zambia does not set, impose, or control vendor policies and shall not be held responsible for decisions made by vendors regarding cancellations or refunds.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under the laws of the Republic of Zambia, Zippy Zambia and Ani & Mad Holidays Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
- Use of the platform
- Services provided by vendors
- Booking cancellations, delays, or service failures
- Personal injury, loss, or damage occurring during the use of vendor services
This includes, but is not limited to, financial loss, reputational damage, or dissatisfaction with services.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a customer and a vendor:
- Zippy Zambia may, at its discretion, assist in facilitating communication
- Zippy Zambia does not act as an arbitrator or mediator
- Zippy Zambia does not guarantee resolution outcomes
All disputes remain the responsibility of the customer and the vendor.
9. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zippy Zambia and Ani & Mad Holidays Limited from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Use of the platform
- Breach of these Terms
- Interactions or disputes with vendors
10. Force Majeure
Zippy Zambia shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions or restrictions
- Strikes or labor disputes
- System failures or infrastructure disruptions
11. Data Protection and Privacy
Zippy Zambia processes personal data in accordance with the Zambia Data Protection Act.
Zippy Zambia collects only the minimum necessary personal data required to facilitate bookings.
Zippy Zambia does not collect or process identity documents such as NRC or passport details. Any identity verification conducted at check-in is the responsibility of the vendor, who acts as an independent data controller.

12. Eligibility and Local Pricing
Zippy Zambia is designed primarily for residents of the Republic of Zambia and may offer local resident rates provided by vendors.
Certain listings may be restricted to individuals eligible for local rates.
Vendors reserve the right to:
- Verify eligibility at check-in
- Decline bookings or adjust pricing where eligibility requirements are not met
Customers are responsible for ensuring they meet any eligibility criteria specified by the vendor at the time of booking.
13. Suspension and Termination
Zippy Zambia reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform at its sole discretion in cases including, but not limited to:
- Fraudulent activity
- Misuse of the platform
- Breach of these Terms
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
15. Amendments
Zippy Zambia reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
