1. Introduction

Welcome to ZippyZambia.com (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Zippy Zambia is an online marketplace that connects customers with accommodation providers, activity operators, and experience hosts across Zambia.

This platform functions similarly to Booking.com and Airbnb: vendors list their services, customers make bookings, and payments are processed securely through ZippyZambia.com.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the platform.


2. Role of Zippy Zambia

Zippy Zambia acts as an intermediary between customers and vendors.

We do not own, manage, or operate any accommodation, tour, or activity listed on the site.

Vendors are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of their listings
  • The availability and pricing of their services
  • The quality and delivery of their services
  • Their cancellation and refund policies

3. Bookings & Payments

All bookings made on ZippyZambia.com must be paid through our secure online payment system.

By completing a booking, the customer agrees to:

  • Pay the listed price in full
  • Follow the vendor’s house rules and service conditions
  • Understand that Zippy Zambia is not the service provider

Commission

Zippy Zambia charges vendors a fixed commission on every confirmed booking.

This amount is automatically deducted before vendor payouts.

Order Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after payment is successfully processed.


4. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors listing on ZippyZambia.com agree to:

  • Provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and photos
  • Keep availability calendars updated
  • Honor all confirmed bookings
  • Clearly specify their cancellation and refund policies
  • Respond promptly to customer queries
  • Ensure safety and quality standards for all services

Zippy Zambia reserves the right to remove or suspend listings that violate platform rules or receive repeated complaints.


5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Each vendor sets their own cancellation policy, which is displayed on their listing page.

Customer Cancellations

  • Customers must request cancellations through ZippyZambia.com
  • The vendor’s cancellation policy determines the eligibility for refund
  • Refunds, when applicable, are issued only through ZippyZambia.com
  • Vendors are not permitted to refund customers directly

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed by Zippy Zambia through the payment gateway.

Refund amounts are deducted from the vendor’s earnings according to the policy (e.g., 50% refund).

Refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect depending on payment method.

Non-Refundable Bookings

If a vendor lists a service as “non-refundable,” no refunds will be issued once a booking is confirmed.


6. No-Show Policy

If a customer does not show up for their booking:

  • The booking is treated according to the vendor’s stated cancellation/no-show policy
  • No compensation is required from Zippy Zambia

7. Vendor Payouts

Vendors can request withdrawals directly through their vendor dashboard.

Withdrawal Terms

  • Withdrawals are processed within the payout cycle (usually 24–72 hours)
  • Available withdrawal methods include bank transfer and mobile money options
  • Zippy Zambia is not responsible for incorrect vendor account details
  • Withdrawals will only be processed for completed bookings

8. Disputes Between Vendors and Customers

Zippy Zambia may assist with communication but is not responsible for disputes related to:

  • Quality of service
  • Miscommunication
  • Delays or cancellations by vendors
  • Customer no-shows

Disputes must be resolved between the vendor and customer, following vendor policies.


9. Platform Fees & Changes

Zippy Zambia reserves the right to modify:

  • Commission rates
  • Service fees
  • Platform features
  • Terms & Conditions

Any changes will be reflected on this page.


10. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Post misleading or false information
  • List illegal or unsafe activities
  • Upload copyrighted materials without permission
  • Use the platform for fraudulent or abusive purposes
  • Attempt to bypass payment or booking systems

11. Limitation of Liability

Zippy Zambia is not liable for:

  • Vendor cancellations or operational issues
  • Customer behavior or misuse
  • Injuries, damages, or losses occurring during any experience or stay
  • Errors caused by incorrect vendor listing information

Customers agree to participate in activities at their own risk.


12. Privacy & Data Protection

All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or share customer or vendor information with third parties except as required to process bookings.


13. Account Suspension

Zippy Zambia may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Policy violations
  • Fraudulent activities
  • Repeated customer complaints
  • Misuse or abuse of the platform

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
